Twin Oaks Computing is proud to announce the availability of the newest CoreDX DDS release. This new release provides a standards-based, interoperable publish-subscribe middleware with all the features of the Data Distribution Service standard and minimal resource requirements.
CoreDX DDS supports over 50 platform combinations, including the Windows, Linux, Solaris, VxWorks, QNX, Android and LynxOS operating systems on x86, SPARC, ARM, MIPS, and PPC hardware architectures. The new v3.2 features increased scalability, reduced latencies, and a smaller run-time footprint.
Developers can now make full use of Dynamic Types in C and C++. Dynamic Types allow the application to discover, read and create application defined data types at run-time, instead of compile time. Dynamic Types add increased flexibility for large-scale, long life-cycle deployment environments.
CoreDX DDS v3.2 is scalable to thousands of publish subscribe entities and a new product, the CoreDX DDS Centralized Discovery Daemon addresses scalability issues in a large scale network environment while remaining fully interoperable.
CoreDX DDS is the leader in full-featured small-footprint DDS. The Dynamic Type technology, wide platform support, scalability, and great performance are available in the CoreDX DDS library that is still 500 KBytes! CoreDX DDS is the perfect way to add publish subscribe data distribution service capabilities to embedded platforms.
We have expanded our CoreDX DDS product line to include tools for development, integration, test, and deployment. The CoreDX DDS Spy tool provides visibility into DDS networks, reducing risk during development and test, and providing a useful tool for verifying deployed systems. The CoreDX DDS Multiplexor allows greater flexibility in configuring complex deployment environment. CoreDX DDS Centralized Discovery allows greater scalability of DDS Networks be reducing the required memory for discovery of large numbers of DDS entities.
