March 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Numerous articles concerning all ... Items, Companies, and Issues noted above have been published or released over the last (5) five plus years ... some accurate, others half accurate, and some with a definite agenda, we will avoid, due to limited space.

Foreman and Associates would like to share a few facts and opinions, some may know and others may learn.

Names have not been changed to protect, rather to expose and provide factual info about those involved, and why you read or hear some statements, facts, and opinions.

My Firm can agree to disagree and remain Professional, respects the opinions of other Professionals and Government Agency's ... but as Paul Harvey would say  ...

Now ... The rest of the story ...

Chamber Testing:

ASTM approved means and method to measure out-gassing levels and specific compounds found in the tested vapor or out-gassed vapor.

Resulting with accurate, positive, definitive measurements and specific compounds, that at this time, have NO ESTABLISHED ACCEPTABLE ASTM RESIDENTIAL STANDARD, legally and professionally allowing information to be properly and factually interpreted and applied by Professionals.

Current CPSC ASTM Chamber Testing by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), clearly shows elevated corrosive out-gassing levels of imported gypsum boards compared to domestic gypsum boards, allowing my Firm to establish ... 6 - 8  micro-grams per hour out-gassing, per square meter of gypsum board or LESS as an acceptable corrosive out-gassing level, or Rule of Thumb, until actual ASTM Standards are established.

Out-gassing Charts and Information ... see ConstructionGuru.com web-site

NDE Analysis Protocol:

Simple, accurate, effective means and method to determine if a structure is infected or not infected with TCDW or CDW.

ASTM Emergency Work Group established November 2009, to provide and establish, simple analysis or diagnostic guidelines, to determine the presence of TCDW or CDW in structures.

Foreman and Associates perfected our proprietary NDE Analysis Protocol in January 2009, Michael S. Foreman C-11 ASTM Member, submitted F&A NDE Analysis Protocol to ASTM Work Group, January 2010, and published F&A NDE Analysis Protocol on our web-site, allowing FREE access to Consumers ... February 1st, 2011 ...
see ConstructionGuru.com web-site

At this time ...

NO ASTM NDE Analysis Protocol, Standard, or approved guideline exists, even after F&A submitted NDE Analysis Protocol (January 2010), figure that one out ???

Lennar:

Large, publicly traded Development Company, that built numerous developments under Lennar and US Home, later structures were diagnosed and confirmed as having Tainted Corrosive Drywall (TCDW) or Chinese Drywall (CDW).

Lennar was first large Builder / Developer to take responsibility and perform corrective repairs, based on Environ Protocol or Guidance. Lennar continues to correct or repair structures they built for Consumers, including second and third owners of their Product, that Lennar is not legally mandated or required to repair or correct, at this time.

Environ Original Protocol did not include replacement of wiring, light fixtures, garage door motors, treatment to neutralize residuals from out-gassing vapors absorbed into construction materials, Certified Chamber Testing of building component samples after "Air-Out" Environ Protocol, or even testing of new sheet-rock prior to installation.

Foreman and Associates Original (January 2009) and existing Protocols, include all the above, in addition to the standard Protocols promoted by Environ, and others. F&A Abatement Protocol is also back by an Insurance Policy, that specifically covers Chinese or Tainted Corrosive Drywall issues and future issues.

Electrical Wiring and Insulators:

Numerous issues and opinions concerning this item, and still NO DEFINITIVE, VALIDATED, CONFIRMED TESTING ... specific to all electrical components typically found in residential construction.

CPSC Reports, Sandia Report, and Foreman and Associates Articles ... un-cover or expose the facts concerning these items and issues.

Please read attached below carefully and thoroughly ... opinions welcome ...

Treatments:

At this time, all Projects performed under Environ "Air-Out" Protocol, or any other Abatement Protocols that fail to address the unknown future TCDW or CDW out-gassing residue issues, are not only at risk but may require further corrective repairs, to resolve these unknown issues.

At this time, NO GOVERNMENT AGENCY can explain, confirm, or validate what specifically is causing the out-gassing vapors ... clearly leaving an unknown factor(s) or risk, Consumers, Legal System, and Lawyers may deal with in the future.

Foreman and Associates Team of Professionals, firmly believes these Protocols are unacceptable, risky, and unnecessary, when a simple, COST EFFECTIVE, field validated application currently exists

F&A Team of experts, field validated, and confirmed an Eco-Friendly product ... SNiPER® ... that not only eradicates and eliminates all TCDW or CDW out-gassing residues, but also kills mold and mildew spores on contact, commonly found in structures during the abatement process. SNiPER® Treatment Application cost effectively reduces re-construction component replacement cost and Personal Property replacement cost, including existing cabinets, counter-tops, and other hard surface building components, including tile, stone, and wood flooring.

Foreman and Associates Team of Professionals, Cost Effectively provides, FULLY INSURED, 45 - 65 day abatement, treatment and re-construction turn around, on typical 2500 square foot structures ... TURN KEY ... 100% complete ... move-in ready.

Foreman and Associates continues to lead the Industry the old fashion way ... FIELD WORK and RESEARCH, educating and empowering Consumers, to level the playing field.
