Maine Cloth Diaper Enthusiasts preparing to set Earth Friendly World Record on April 23, 2011

Amazing Global Response to US initiated Earth Day Celebration: World wide locations will gather simultaneously for a Guinness World Records Event of the most babies changed into a cloth diaper.

March 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Portland Area, Maine– Thousands of parents around the globe will unite to change the world -- and their babies' diapers -- during the Great Cloth Diaper Change 2011. Hundreds of local parents and babies will join the international effort to set a Guinness World Record™ for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously.

Hiney Liney’s, cloth diaper manufacturer of the Hiney Liney’s Pocket Lover Diaper System (http://www.HineyLineys.com), local green living baby store, Everything Birth (http://www.EverythingBirth.com), and National Cloth Diaper Advocacy Expert Kelly Wels (http://www.KellyWels.com), will be hosting local events in Portland Area, Maine at the Peek-A-Boo Children’s Center, Dana Warp Mill 90 Bridge St Suite 206 Westbrook, ME 04092. Date and Time is Saturday, April 23 at 9AM Pacific / 12PM Eastern ‐ which means that on a global level some cloth diaper enthusiasts will gather and do the diaper change in the middle of the night. Exact information is available on a local level so that all participants, no matter where they live, can find the appropriate location and time.

Hiney Liney’s, Everything Birth, and Kelly Wels are eager to be a part of setting a Guinness World Record and letting the world know that cloth diapering rocks. The local event is being sponsored by Diaper Parties by Everything Birth, DiaperShops.com, Hiney Liney’s, itti bitti United States, Moby Wrap, as well as several other natural parenting companies . The first 50 participants to arrive will receive a swag bag full of freebies from sponsors of cloth diaper and baby related products. Other events will include a raffle of natural parenting products to benefit the Real Diaper Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to help families across the U.S. and Canada use reusable cloth diapers, a play-time opportunity for toddlers and babies, as well as several tables to purchase cloth diapers and natural baby products.
