The Provident Bank Charitable Foundation Announces $100,000 Grant to Orange Regional Medical Center

March 23, 2011 - PRLog -- The Provident Bank Charitable Foundation today announced a $100,000 grant to Orange Regional Medical Center to equip the Newborn Nursery at the hospital’s new Rowley Family Birthing Center.

The Newborn Nursery, which will be located on the sixth floor of the hospital, will feature 10 single-bed labor/delivery rooms, 23 single-bed postpartum rooms and a 10-bed Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Orange Regional Medical Center launched a $21 million capital campaign two years ago to fund the new 600,000-square-foot hospital in the Town of Wallkill.  The new Orange Regional Medical Center is the first construction of its kind in New York in 20 years. The new hospital will eliminate the need to drive long distances to receive treatment as well as provide enhanced and expand programs to individuals who have come to depend on the hospital and its services.
