Riveting New Evidence In JFK Assassination

Was Lee Harvey Oswald on the sixth floor of the Book Depository? New evidence regarding that question surfaces with the story of Victoria Adams, a significant yet ignored witness to the JFK assassination. Meet her in, "The Girl on the Stairs."

March 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Significant new evidence regarding Lee Harvey Oswald’s presence on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository has now been released.
“The Girl on the Stairs” by Barry Ernest of Harrisburg, Pa., details the story of Victoria Adams, a little-known yet crucial witness to whether or not the Warren Commission got it right with its conclusion about who murdered JFK.  Following the shooting Miss Adams ran from her fourth-floor office in the Depository down the back staircase of the building.  The timing of her descent coincided exactly with when Oswald would have been fleeing down those same stairs following his escape from the sniper’s nest above.
As the Warren Report readily admitted, if Miss Adams was accurate with what she said she did and when she said she did it, she should have seen or heard the assassin.
Yet Miss Adams testified she saw and heard no one on the stairs.
Therefore, she was deemed to have been wrong, discredited because of that, humiliated and then branded a liar by the Commission.  Knowing the truth and fearing for her life because of it, she went into hiding, content to die with her secrets.
Intrigued by what little was known at that time about Miss Adams, the author went in search of her. “The Girl on the Stairs” is the riveting 420-page chronicle of Mr. Ernest’s 35-year search to not only find this elusive woman, but to learn the facts behind her account.  The journey took him through the witnesses of Dallas and the documents of the National Archives in Washington.  Along the way, his personal foray into the mess that now surrounds this subject resulted in answers to many previously unanswered questions, an end to many of the nagging—and annoying—speculations, and ultimately to the doorstep of Victoria Adams, where her truths were finally revealed.
“The Girl on the Stairs” began as an e-book when Mr. Ernest refused the requests of several interested publishers to conclude his manuscript with a hypothetical final-chapter “solution” to the crime.  Popular demand for the electronic version put the book into a hard-copy format, which was published on March 14 and will soon be available in most major book stores.  He has appeared on numerous radio talk shows and will be a featured speaker at this year’s national Coalition on Political Assassinations (COPA) conference in Dallas over the upcoming November anniversary.  Book signings are also being planned.
