ANOTHER STELLAR YEAR FOR HOMEWOOD SUITES by HILTON DALLAS/FRISCO
Magnolia Lodging Also Planning Addition in Frisco
(Frisco, Texas) March 15, 2011 ~ As a result of exceptionally high guest feedback and repeat business levels, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas/Frisco hotel took top honors at the 2011 Homewood Suites Annual Leadership Conference in Las Vegas with the 2010 Director of Sales of the Year award going to Michelle White, an industry veteran who has been at the Dallas/Frisco hotel since it opened in 2007. White’s success stems from a network of working relationships she has developed with both local and national corporations, including PepsiCo., Ericsson, JC Penney and IBM. Ms. White feels, “To be recognized for doing something that I enjoy is an honor. However, please know that this was not a single effort. We have an incredible team, and I'm so proud to be a part of it and to share in these achievements.”
The Dallas/Frisco hotel received a Pride of Merit Award for Top 10 percent in the Homewood brand, a distinction based upon SALT scores (guest satisfaction)
Dallas/Frisco General Manager Joel Welborn earned a Pride of Merit Award for Top 10 General Manager. This marks Welborn’s second Pride of Merit Award for Top 10 General Manager, also earned during his tenure with Magnolia Lodging; he has served in both general manager and assistant general manager roles at Magnolia’s Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inn properties. Dallas/Frisco’
Welborn commented, “I'm extremely proud of the entire Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-Frisco team. We are all honored to be the recipients of these prestigious awards. It was diligent work and outstanding customer service from all of the hotel's employees that brought us these accolades, and I know we are all looking forward to continued success in 2011. I'm privileged to be a part of this outstanding organization.”
Magnolia Lodging’s forthcoming project is a Home2 Suites by Hilton in Frisco, Texas, scheduled to begin construction in mid 2011. The five-story 114-suite hotel will be the first Home2 Suites in North Texas. The Home2 Suites brand is a midscale extended-stay hotel geared toward the budget-savvy guest.
