Divabetic Supports Diabetes Alert Day 2011

March 16, 2011 - PRLog -- New York, NY - Divabetic, one of the country’s leading health and wellness nonprofits for those living with, at risk of and affected by diabetes, is proud to announce its endorsement of the American Diabetes Association’s Diabetes Alert Day (3/22/11), a one-day “wake-up” call requesting Americans to take the Diabetes Risk Test to learn if they are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. The Diabetes Risk Test is a simple survey, which determines whether or not the user is at low, moderate or high risk for type 2 diabetes, a chronic disease marked by high levels of sugar (glucose) in the blood and the most common form of diabetes. If the user is at high risk, he or she is encouraged to talk with a health care professional.
