MobilityWare Proves Solitaire Can Be Social

March 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Irvine, California.  The latest release of MobilityWare'sr best selling hit application includes a variety of brand new features, including Winning Deals, Show Me How To Win, and Game Center Multiplayer.  

Solitaire was recently named one of the Top Free Apps of the year by Apple in their iTunes Rewind 2010 list and also made Apple’s list of the Top 10 All Time Top Free Apps.  The extremely popular application has long been one of the mainstays in the Top 100 overall and in several categories in the App Store.

This update to Solitaire introduces a Winning Deals feature that allows the game to be configured to deal hands that are guaranteed to have at least one winning solution. "Not only is there a solution for the deal, but if you can’t solve it yourself, we can even show you all the moves to win the deal," said Ed Cisek, Director of Engineering at MobilityWare.  "No one else is doing anything like this."

The 3.0 version of Solitaire also introduces Multiplayer Solitaire through the use of Game Center. Players can now see how their Solitaire skills stack up with friends and people all around the world.  A player is able to challenge his/her friend or be matched up with a random player to compete against one another on the same deal of Solitaire.  

"The addition of multiplayer in this update is especially exciting. Players can now compete against their friends to determine who really is the best Solitaire player," said Otto Chan, the Director of Marketing at MobilityWare. "And with Voice Chat enabled during a Multiplayer game, you can really add some fuel to the fire," said Chan.

This release of Solitaire is available in English, French, German and most recently, Chinese.

Solitaire is a Universal app, running natively on the iPhone, iPod touch, and the iPad. Solitaire is free in the App Store.
