Follow on Google News | Evidence Reveals Children Are Geniuses... Says Imafidon, Father Of GeniusesChris Imafidon, the Patriarch of Britain’s brainiest family defends his conviction that there is a genius in every child, and asks society to do all it can to develop each child's talent even if the child is from the poorest post code.
By: ExcellenceinEducation.org.uk Chris Imafidon, whose eldest child became the youngest ever Masters graduate in the twin specialisms of Mathematics and Computer Science from Oxford University, cited the results of preliminary studies which involved students at University of Oxford and some London Universities. He concluded that “the appropriate use of innovative computer tools and techniques is a bigger factor than parent's genes, postcode, gender, or any other factor in student academic achievement.” According to him “Every learning endeavour is affected by technology. There is a clear distinction between formal studying and learning, he added. Recent neurological studies show that every juvenile is a genius and he supported this with additional case studies from London worst performing schools. He revealed how innovative computer technology can be used as a yardstick for school achievement and referred people to the Imafidon website (www.imafidons.com) Chris Imafidon, father of the family with the world's highest number of prodigies said that his children's success is "Not in the genes, not in the postcode, not in the gender, or in the school. But in the optimum, enabling environment where Mathematics is a game and learning is fun. I salute the teachers, parents and volunteers of the Excellence in Education programme for inner city pupils for their pioneering work with socially disadvantaged students. I congratulate organisations, churches and other community groups such the VPA in Barking, Essex and St Cliwom Church in Old Kent Road, London for collaborating in this educational project. The whole society must do all it can to develop each child's talent even if the child is from the poorest post code, or the worst school.” He drew on his research on educational informatics and additional information/ THE END NOTES TO EDITOR For pictures & Interviews Call: Hannah Christian-Rivers (07968285848) Press Relation Dept, Excellence in Education (EIE) programme Email: info@excellenceineducation.org.uk www.excellenceineducation.org.uk NOTES TO EDITOR 1.
