Fender Girl Malina Moye Sparkles With Swarovski

Feb. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- National recording artist Malina Moye unveils her custom Fender Swarovski guitar. The guitar was designed by Bill Valaika and Glam Guitars.

“Bill and his team came up with a few designs after we spoke and we picked a great one, and just went with it."

The guitar is adorned with over 8,000 Swarovski crystals from Austria. They were hand placed on the sirens white Stratocaster, which remains a completely functioning guitar for Moye to play in concert.

"I'm so excited about the guitar because I always wanted a crystallized guitar that really rocks, and the craftsmanship is impeccable”, says Moye. “I feel like the belle of the ball. Thank you again to all the people involved in making this happen."

Moye plans to play the sparkling axe throughout her summer European “Diamonds & Guitars” tour but it will first be played at the Child Dream Awards which highlights young children making a difference around the world, airing mid march on Hulu TV and national network.

“I'm very honored to be apart of this inaugural event,” explains Moye. “It's like CNN Heroes for kids meets the Oscars.“

Malina will perform in the opening ceremony as well as the all star finale, until then catch the rising star on music's biggest night on the Grammy Red Carpet Feb 13, 2011 on CBS.
