More British are Buying Overseas Property in Western France

More Brits are buying second homes in France than any other nationality.

Recent reports are noting that the British are own more second homes in France than any other nation. Almost thirty percent of these second homes are owned by people from the UK. The area that is the most owned by the British is the North-West, in particular the Côtes d’Armo and Morbihan in Brittany, the Dordogne, and Manche in Basse-Normandie.
Many French property consultants have attributed the large amount of second homes in France owned by Brits as due to its easy accessibility to the UK. They reference that most of the British inquiries have been for property in the western regions.
