Artistic Addition to Captain Cooked Book Tour


Famed Tiki artist Brad Parker and best-selling author S. P. Grogan are hosting a joint signing event at the Royal Kona Resort, 75 5852 Ali'i Drive, February 20th, 4 p.m. to sunset.

Parker created the book cover for Grogan’s new mystery,Captain Cooked.  The mystery novel will be signed by both artist and author and those purchasing Captain Cooked will also receive a free signed poster of the book cover artwork.

Brad Parker, Big Island artist in residence, is well known for his brightly colored Tiki motifs, found in multi-media designs including art, prints, and even Body Glove swim wear and beach towels/mats. One well known work is ‘Bela Lugosi drinks a Zombie’. Many of his creations will be on display and available for purchase.  His work can be viewed at

S.P.Grogan is the best selling author of Vegas Die.  His latest mystery, Captain Cooked, according to a reviewer, is ‘if Janet Evanovich morphed into Rachel Ray while filming a remake of Perils of Pauline’.
