By: Shonda Hutton Time for Change Foundation will hold its Sixth Annual Awards Luncheon on April 7, 2011 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the National Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino. This is an opportunity to honor members of the community, to celebrate the life-changing successes of its clients, and raise much needed funds to continue its mission. Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County will be recognized with the Community Champions Award for its leadership to establish innovative programs that serves San Bernardino's residents with alternatives that lead them away from poverty toward prosperity. "On behalf of myself and the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County Board of Directors, we are honored to be recognized by Time for Change Foundation as the recipient of the 2011 Community Champions Award. For over 40 years CAPSBC has been on a mission to help low-income families in San Bernardino County to achieve self-sufficiency in the spirit of dignity and hope. We have been especially challenged during these tough economic times to continue this mission, and it is gratifying to be recognized for these efforts. We are proud to be a community partner with Time for Change Foundation," The Foundation will also honor Beverly Earl, Larry and Jannette Curti, and the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word at the awards luncheon to express its gratitude and sincerest appreciation for the hard work they do on behalf of others.
