Stribling and Associates Expands Executive Team

Jan. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Stribling & Associates, one of New York’s premier residential brokerage firms, has expanded its team with the appointment of two new executives. Elizabeth Ann Stribling-Kivlan, 31, was promoted to Director of Marketing and Business Development, and Rebecca Mason, 36, has joined the firm as Executive Vice President, Director of Sales.

Ms. Stribling-Kivlan, who served as a salesperson for four years and an Executive Vice President for three years, will direct all marketing and new business development initiatives at Stribling & Associates (http://stribling.com/). She previously managed Stribling’s downtown offices located in Chelsea and Tribeca as Director of Sales, and has been an Executive Vice President since 2007. As Director of Marketing and Business Development, she will focus on positioning Stribling as a recognized brand through viral communication, social networks and involvement with national and international real estate associations. In addition, she will be responsible for raising Stribling broker awareness and education in these areas.

Prior to joining Stribling & Associates (http://stribling.com/about.asp), Ms. Stribling-Kivlan spent two years at Pacific Union in San Francisco, working under the guidance of one of the top brokers, Mary Lou Castellanos.

Ms. Mason brings more than 18 years of real estate experience to the company and will be responsible for managing both of Stribling’s downtown offices. She most recently served as Executive Director of the residential brokerage division of Caran Properties, and was responsible for the group’s management, marketing, business development and listing activities. Ms. Mason joined Caran Properties in 1993 as a Special Projects Manager and supervised $8 million in capital construction projects from bidding through completion. A licensed real estate broker, she brings additional expertise in property management, mortgage refinancing, negotiating commercial and retail leases and overseeing tenant improvements.

Ms. Mason has served as the Co-chair of the REBNY Small Firm Committee and the REBNY Ethics Committee and was a member of the Board of Directors. She has also taught continuing education courses at REBNY. She was President of the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW) in 2009 – 2010. In 2004, Ms. Mason was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Real Estate by the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW). She was a 2005 recipient of the prestigious Emma Lazarus Award presented by the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York (ABO) and was named a Rising Star of the Real Estate Industry by Real Estate Weekly in 2007. In 2009, ABO also named her Broker of the Year.
