St. Mary's School Announces the Legacy Leadership Award and Tribute to Leadership Assembly

St. Mary's School announces the presentation of the Legacy Leadership Award and the Tribute to Leadership Awards Assembly to be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 12:00 to 1:00 pm at St. Mary's School.

Jan. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- The St. Mary's Legacy Leadership Award program is designed to give eighth grade students an opportunity to demonstrate exemplary leadership and be honored for their participation in community service. Students were invited to submit a full resume and application for consideration. A panel of independent judges from outside of the St. Mary's community have evaluated each student on their history of community and school involvement, three essays written in a controlled testing environment, and a 10-minute oral interview. The winner of the Legacy Leadership Award will receive a scholarship savings bond worth $2,500 for future educational costs.

The finalists include: Peter Auriemma, Evie Blackburn, Morgan Byrne, Haitham Chehabi, James Colley, Madison Davis, Carlee DiNicola, Brenten Kelly, Kiera Makowecki, Emilie Marcinkowski, Ryan Simmons and Kristen Walker.

St. Mary's School will announce the winner of the Legacy Leadership Award during the Tribute to Leadership Awards Presentation to be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 12:00 to 1:00 pm at St. Mary's School.
