Flytouch2 Android 2.2 GPS Epad Storms Zenithink 2 ZT-180 Froyo 2.2

Jan. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- When will the tablet cloning wars end?  Well in China the answer is probably "Never."
This is because people in the world have this new craving for cheap, affordable high quality iPad-wannabe's that run open source Google Android Operating systems.

Hence, two tablet makers Flytouch2 (a.k.a. Superpad, M16-GPS) and Zenithink (ZT-180-2) have been duelling it out during the past week.

Well what is the duel about?  The duel is to see which Apad (android tablet pc) is king of the castle. Both are vowing for the 10-inch Chinese clone crown.

Well, actually the screen size is a little bigger, around 10.2" - anyways, both the Flytouch2 (shortly to be known as the Flytouch2) and the Zenithink 2 run Android 2.2.

Previously the Superpad did not run Android 2.2, only Android 2.1. The main thing buyers wanted that the Zt-180 did not have was built in GPS. With the passage of today, both tablets now have Droid 2.2 (Froyo).

To be fair in this review of the Zenithink 2, it did make some improvements; All of which the Superpad3 now have as well.

The list includes: built-in 1.3 Mega Pixel web camera, built-in official google android market, upgraded 4gb nandflash 512mb ddr, youtube video application, larger battery for longer apad usage.

The Zt-180 II still lacks GPS; This is where the Android 2.2 Flytouch 3 storms the ZT-180 2. While the Zenithink2 is only $15 cheaper, it leaves one the question, "When will the Zenithink 3 come out with built in GPS?"

With the adage "a ipad clone tablet a day keeps the doctor away," it could be as early as next week. I still don't think so. Still wish that one of these tablets had capacitive screens, we'll leave that (wish) and a $200 tablet pc to the tooth fairy.
