Quality Engineer - Platforms (sillicon valley）

Quality Assurance:
•   Direct a Quality Assurance program for iPhone and Android.
•   Define, develop and implement QA practices and procedures, test documentation and other QA assessments closely working with the teams to establish standards and best practices
•   Work closely with Product Engineering Manager, UI and Interaction Designers, Software Developers.
Test Management:
•   Design, develop and document testing processes.
•   Analyze requirements/specification and prepare different kinds of tests (functional, non-functional).
•   Build and utilize test frameworks for functional and non-functional tests.
Defects Management:
Be responsible for issues tracking, reporting defects to developers, get beyond the problem report providing detailed information from isolated testing scenario to relevant logs to developer to fast resolution.
Quality Control:
•   Ensure product will launch with the high Quality needed for worldwide markets.
•   Constantly increase the quality of the product by:
•   Improving internal processes and tools
•   Optimizing quality measurements
•   Keep an eye on automation and continuous integration
•   Learning new things and technologies, learn them quickly and apply for your day-to-day job        
Expertise/Experience:
•   Good knowledge of quality and quality related parameters
•   Good knowledge and working experience of mobile operating environments
•   (iPhone OS, Android,  Symbian, etc.)
•   Knowledge of software testing methodology (Various techniques, frameworks, etc)
•   Experience with a various defect, requirements, issues and test management systems
•   Analytical mindset
•   High stress tolerance
Preferred:
Basic to advanced Java and Objective-C with Cocoa skills
Knowledge of real-time communications and associated protocols
Troubleshooting/Analytics:
Excellent troubleshooting skills. Be able to provide meaningful input in discussions and analysis. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and the ability to use all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing.    
Qualifications:
•   BS degree in CS/EE or equivalent, MS is a plus
•   ISTQB/ISEB certification is a plus
