Jan. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- SwissShade + Security Inc. provides windows and doors which are manufactured to strict German standards for insulation values and energy efficiency.  Every window/door is custom made by experienced tradesmen to create a highly efficient and elegant solution to your fenstration needs.  Our standard glass is dual pane with Argon filled insulation space with a lowE coating on the inner pane - U value 0.26.  Upgrading to various security levels and get added sound control as well as peace of mind.  
    Burglar - proof security glass consists of laminated glass which absorbs the impact of a foreign object which would normally allow for an intruder to enter the house.  This laminated glass provides a barrier which is not easily penetrable and would deter the majority of would be intruders.  
    The frame which houses this security glass was designed to support the extra weight and thickness of the glass.  This differs from other window companies which retrofitted their frames to accomodate the glass technology.  In addition to the security glazing, burglar - proof windows have a multi-point locking mechanism around the perimeter of the frame with a minimum of 7 cam locks.
    The staff at SwissShade works with the homeowner or architect from the design phase to the installation providing CAD drawings and specifications.
