Campaign "Yes2dotAfrica" 2011 announced during January's Tripoli Diaspora conference

DCA announced its 2011 "Yes2dotAfrica" Campaign in Tripoli earlier this year. The current unrest is of deep concern to all friends of our fellow African's and DCA expresses its hope for a peaceful resolution.

Dec. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Tripoli,Libya:  DCA announced its "Yes2dotafrica" Campaign in Tripoli during a meeting gathering the African Diaspora from around the world .  

The historic Diaspora conference was aimed to create the necessary dialog amongst global African Diaspora who are interested to contribute to their home lands. Over 600 guests  were invited and attended the conference including dignitaries, business and non-profit leaders, parliamentarians, authors and  other professionals from around the world.

The meeting was addressed by various leaders from Africa and Europe, including His Excellency Dr. Jean Ping, chairman of the the African Union Commission.

DCA brought to this forum a delegation of generation.africa from various Leadership Forums who also expressed support for the Diaspora meeting.

Finally, Ms. Bekele presented the dotafrica project to THE Head of State, distinguished audience which included  Kings, Queens, Sultans, Princesses, Sheiks and mayors of Africa.

Bekele said  to the audience "we are here to announce the start of the "yes2dotafrica" campaign and after this, we will continue to travel across Africa and seek support from African governments, the community and build our generation.africa".

The project was praised by the audience. The proposal and PanAfrican vision was warmly encouraged.

DCA wishes to express its thanks to the Libyan people for their hospitality during the meeting.  It is saddened by the current unrest in the country and hopes for a peaceful outcome.

Again, we hope and pray for the well being of all our fellow Africans and friends in Libya.
