Save The Date For The Treasure Coast Charity Classic

Jan. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA – JANUARY, 2011 – The Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary is pleased to announce the Treasure Coast Charity Classic to be held on Sunday, May 1st, 2011.  The Golf Tournament, which will be held at the very prestigious and private Harbour Ridge Golf Course in Palm City, will include a Ladies Division, a Men’s Division, a Mixed Team Division, as well as a silent auction, and breakfast before and lunch after the tournament.  

A 9:00 a.m. shotgun start will begin the tournament and prizes will be awarded at the luncheon following play.  Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $500 per foursome.  Applications will be available on-line; to register, go to www.TreasureCoastCharities.com or call Larry Breault at 772-631-7109.

Sponsorships are still available, beginning at $750.00 and include a foursome into the tournament, and goodie bag and program advertising opportunities.  

The Tournament will benefit the Rotary Club’s Charity Program, of which many local charitable organizations receive funds, including Alzheimer’s Community Care, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, CASTLE, a local child abuse education and prevention program, and other programs as needed throughout the year.  

About the Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club
The Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary is a local branch of Rotary International. They are involved in more than a dozen local, national and international causes, including Polio Eradication programs, clean water projects, and educational projects.  The Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club is the recipient of the 2010 Philanthropy Award for Outstanding Group Supporting Philanthropy in St. Lucie County. They meet at 5:30 p.m. every Thursday at Applebee’s Restaurant on US#1 in Port St. Lucie.
