The new application also allows pilots to comment and interact on their social networks, Facebook and Twitter. Pilots can comment on a variety of selected topics of interest to instrument related pilots as well as the news feed directly from the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE). A version for Android and iPad are currently under development.
IMCClubs.org plans on releasing an update to the application soon that will include a weekly video webcast from IMC TV studios in Norwood, Massachusetts. The webcast will include instructional content and opinions from IMCClubs members. IMClubs.org President, Radek Wyrzykowski, commented “It is so important that pilots and especially flight instructors today stay current in the events that affect the world of aviation”.
The IMC Club is a membership based Non- Profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on instrument rated pilots and flight instructors, with a network of chapters throughout the nation. IMC Clubs goal is to create a community of pilots that share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety and build proficiency in instrument flying.

Too often pilots finish their training and then become distracted and disengaged from the flying community. The result is a dangerous lack of proficiency and or the loss of support to the flying community as a whole. IMC Club was established to mitigate this issue by providing a means to reengage pilots with other pilots and instructors. IMC club is coaching, training, mentoring and helping pilots to fly in actual instrument meteorological conditions.
