Dec. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Holliday Entertainments new film " Big Things Happen in the Bay " is gaining more media love. The film features "Katt Williams". Katt's DVD’s have sold over 2.1 million units and continue to sell well today. In an unprecedented power move for the multi-talented comedian/actor, Salient Media recently inked a deal with Warner Bros. Records to distribute the audio version to Katt Williams’ critically acclaimed fourth stand-up DVD It’s Pimpin’, Pimpin,’ The DVD version was released in 2009 and features a collection of the comedian’s brash, no-holds-barred routines from his 100-city tour, which grossed more than $25 million in ticket sales. As proof positive to Williams’ ranking of being the number-one urban comedian in the market, It’s Pimpin’, Pimpin’ DVD has sold 200,000 units since its Nov. 11 release.

The Previous DVD releases from Williams include laugh riots Pimp Chronicles and Katt Live, both released in 2006 and selling more than 700,000 units each and last year’s American Hustle, which has sold more than 650,000 units and counting.Making his first mark on the American public as pint-sized pimp "Money Mike" in side-splitting comedy Friday After Next, the Cincinnati-born, Dayton, Ohio-raised go-getter quickly became a household name for his brutal, off-the-cuff brand of comedy and parlayed his position into roles as "Rickey" in the $40-million-grossing box-office smash First Sunday and ex-pimp "Lord Have Mercy" in last year’s Norbit, which took in more than $70 million. He also served as a cast member on MTV’s Wild 'n Out for several seasons and has even contributed to numerous skits and video appearances for artists such as The Game, Ludacris, T.I., E-40, Outkast, Lil’ Kim, Lyfe Jennings,Nick Cannon, DJ Drama, Lil' Scrappy and Lil Jon. In addition, Williams voices "A Pimp Named Slickback" on the Adult Swim's "The Boondocks."

Katt Williams is the number one comedian in the urban market.
