Weatherford, Texas — Ether Books, a publisher located in the UK, has released the first installment of “City on a Hill“, a new work of fiction from Texas author Jeremy Lane. The new collection follows Lane’s debut release, “Here and Gone”, also published by Ether. The first three installments of “City on a Hill” are being offered free to readers through the Ether platform.
Ether publishes fiction and non-fiction through their own mobile app, available on the IPhone, IPad, and IPod touch, which enables readers to browse, buy and build a personal library on the move. The Ether Books app lets you search by genre or author, read a story synopsis, scan the first page and access author websites, Twitter and Facebook pages.
Ether's Co-Founder Maureen Scott states, “Jeremy‘s new collection will cut right to the emotions of the reader, all the while keeping them on the edge of their seat.”
Belfast writer Jamie Guiney adds, “Great writing knows the intimate language of the soul, occupies your thoughts and draws you back to its words over and over again.
Jeremy Lane's style has a Raymond Carver quality that impresses with every word.”
