ACUMA has published the presentation made by Mr Robert Stephenson, General Manager of Bendigo Student Association at La Trobe University in Australia, detailing research conducted on student leadership and development programs operating at institutions in the United States.

Part-financed by the Joe Curtis Memorial Award, an allowance composed of contributions made by ACUMA Incorporated and partner organisation, the Tertiary Access Group, Mr Stephenson's trip was undertaken in February 2010, with presentation made during the 2010 CampusLink Conference & Trade Fair event in Perth, Western Australia, in September.

In Mr Stephenson's own words:

"I was deeply impressed by the role and significance that Student Affairs professionals - in Australia, ACUMA members - have within the Higher Education sector in the USA. In most cases, they are seen as partners in the campus-wide effort to provide a comprehensive, holistic and transformative learning experience for students."
