Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- CR Telecommunication Services (CR Telecomm), a local VoIP telephony provider, introduced its TotalWorld calling card service to the Hispanic community in Passaic, New Jersey, yesterday.  Braving the cold New Jersey weather, customer service representatives from CR Telecomm distributed information pieces and sample cards so that residents could validate the reliability and excellent call quality of the service.

CR Telecomm’s TotalWorld service is significantly different than most in the marketplace today. The TotalWorld calling card distributed by CR Telecomm is a sturdy credit card quality plastic card that can be registered to a customer’s mobile or home phone. Upon successful registration, the customer would be able to make outbound calls without the need for a pin number. The customer will also select a telephone number from their home country, for example, Chile, Columbia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico or Peru. The customer can give the assigned telephone number to their family, friends, business partners, and associates in their home country to call them in the United States without having to pay for an International phone call. The TotalWorld card in unique in that it is not tied to a particular country. So you can request a Dominican Republic telephone number for your family to call you, and you can call you friends in Venezuela at the same very low rates.  Additionally, customers keep and use the same calling card as long as they maintain the service.

“Our service is a vaccination from all the well known concerns about pre-paid calling cards” said Andre Gavin, Marketing Manager of CR Telecomm. “We do not charge hang-up fees, maintenance charges, destination surcharges, or bill in high increments. CR Telecomm is committed to providing an excellent product to the low and middle class families” Gavin added.

By visiting CR Telecomm’s website, customers can sign up for a TotalWorld account that could be linked to their home or mobile phone.

Starting on Sunday, December 12, 2010 through Friday December 31, 2010, for every approved new account, CR Telecomm would make a donation to the National Consumers League to support the fight against fraudulent calling card operators.

Residents of Passaic County, New Jersey who would like to try CR Telecomm’s service for free by obtaining a calling card valued at five dollars should send an email to TOTALWORLD@CRTELECOMM.COM, before noon, EST on Thursday, December 9, 2010, to request the free calling card. Be sure to include your full name and address in the email.
