Savage, MN Orthodontics Office Uses Invisalign G3 To Treat More Cases

Nov. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- LAKEVILLE, ST. PAUL AND MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA – Dr. Jennifer Eisenhuth and Dr. Trudy Bonvino, both Savage, MN orthodontists, have started using Invisalign G3- the latest technological advancement introduced by the manufacturers of the invisible braces alignment system.

Invisalign G3 treats Class II and Class III malocclusion with Invisalign aligners more effectively, said Eisenhuth, who opened the Savage, MN orthodontics office of Cosmopolitan Orthodontics in 2009. Dr. Trudy Bonvino, a Savage, MN Invisalign invisible braces specialist, is the orthodontist on staff.

Align Technology unveiled Invisalign G3 in October. It is a collection of new software and aligner features that helps correct Class II and III malocclusion, which frequently requires using elastics for anchorage control.

G3 makes anchorage easier by enabling orthodontists (http://www.cosmoortho.com/) to direct precision cuts in each series of the patient’s aligners to better incorporate elastics use, said Bonvino, a Savage, MN orthodontist.

Prior to the advent of Invisalign G3, orthodontists who opted to use elastics with Invisalign treatment (http://www.cosmoortho.com/blog/) had to cut the aligners themselves manually, said the Savage, MN invisible braces expert.

Other upgrades with G3 include SmartForce features such as:
• Power Ridge for lower anteriors.
• Lingual Power Ridge for upper anteriors.
• Optimized Rotation Attachment for bicuspids.
• Optimized Attachments designed for better predictability of certain tooth movements.

Align Technology also introduced an update to its ClinCheck software (http://www.cosmoortho.com/adult-treatment-farmington-orth...). The company said the software upgrade is easier to use, more intuitive and makes the process of treatment planning and review more efficient, said Eisenhuth, a Savage, MN braces provider.

“The software upgrade allows us to quickly and easily alter a patient’s treatment plan when we need to,” Eisenhuth said.
