Whitefish, MT, November 17, 2010:  Dean Grommet of Creations Studio, working in concert with Chairbound Hunters makes another successful season possible for some huntsmen, who otherwise may only dream of the conquest.

The limited mobility of a wheelchair and rough terrain make hunting a rather difficult proposition, But with the help of Grommet and organizations like Chairbound Hunters it becomes a manageable and most enjoyable sport again.  It only takes a small group of people committed to helping  give the chair bound hunter the opportunity to experience quality hunting in beautiful southeast Wyoming.

“I was there October 11th to the 13th and was able to harvest a nice Antelope buck. This hunt

will be a forever lasting memory for me. There are not many people that would do for this program

that (Dean) does for the program,” participating huntsman, Layel Clark.

“I have always enjoyed hunting and after my accident I continued to hunt and always
dreamed of big game hunting in Wyoming. I want to thank you. It was a dream come true for me and one I will always remember,” successful hunter, Dave Buchner.

Artist Dean Grommet grew up tramping the creeks and forests of Kentucky collecting artifacts of primitive man and pursuing wild game. "These childhood endeavors fueled a lifelong passion for adventure which I love to share with others. Organizations like The Chairbound Hunters in Wyoming

help make it possible for many and I am elated to be a part of the process," states Grommet.

This same passion fuels Grommets art as well. He uses a mixture of nature’s media including antlers, stone, wood, and leather, where he creates functional works of art that echo the wild places of the world. The hunt stays close to his heart and fuels this artist and humanitarian.
