Nov. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Growing Herbs For Beginners has opened up their Christmas on the Farm Handmade Holiday Crafting class for this holiday season. The class is available and on sale now through December 19th.

Making it's first appearance last year, this online digital crafting class demonstrates how  anyone can create beautiful handmade Christmas decorations and ornaments with easily found items. Those wanting a gentler and less hurried holiday season may find this class perfect for learning to craft their own century old decorations and ornaments.
Using video tutorials, supply lists and illustrated instructions, students will learn to make a variety of natural, down to earth holiday decor. Some of the projects are traditional Christmas crafts, and all of the class projects can readily made at home using common items. Many people will find they have several of the required supplies already available. Those items not on hand should easily be found at the local grocers or craft store.
The class video instruction provides good results, even for those that have not crafted previously. A few of the traditional 'old fashioned' craft activities incorporate the use of dried fruits. Complete instructions, both written and video- are included for selecting and preparing dried fruit easily at home. No special equipment is required, and the finished decorations are lovely for holiday gift giving. Several options are given for finishing projects and the optional addition of spice and scent to these handmade ornaments results in delightful, fragrant finished products.  Students are welcome to view the class materials online, printing out handouts and instructions as needed. They are also able to download the entire contents of the course for later viewing and printing. Class members will find that most of the projects are suitable for all ages over three years of age. When using the class projects for a themed holiday party or for a family activity please note that younger children will need adult assistance with some of the activities.
