Frank Supovitz, National Football League Top Executive, to Speak at Iona College Dinner Dec. 2

Nov. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Frank Supovitz, Senior Vice President,  Events for the National Football League, will be the featured speaker at Iona College’s Careers in Sports and Entertainment Dinner Series event at 5 PM, Thursday, December 2 at Iona’s  Hynes Athletic Center, 715 North Avenue, New Rochelle.

The audience will have an opportunity to hear from Supovitz who oversees the production of the Super Bowl, the most successful single-day sporting event in the world and to learn about the jobs that support it as well as other NFL events and career opportunities at the NFL.

Supovitz joined the NFL in January, 2005 after serving as Group Vice President, Events and Entertainment for the National Hockey League for 13 years where he was responsible for the planning and execution of the NHL All-Star Weekend, NHL Draft, NHL Awards Show, Stanley Cup Finals and international competitions in Canada, Europe and Japan.

The formal program will begin promptly at 5:30 PM and last until 6:45 PM, followed by a Q&A with Supovitz. It is open to graduate and undergraduate students who have expressed an interest in this field, as well as Iona College faculty, alumni, and administrators.
