1980’s Shepherd Bloodlines-(Natan) son of Sagus v Busecker Schloss back to life by Von Forell

Nov. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- In 1993 Von Forell invested in the future of their breeding program by purchasing frozen semen from Natan V Busecker Schloss Sch III son of Sagus v Busecker Schloss. Although results of a prior mating using Natan’s genetics produced promising results, it was decided that the remaining semen would remain on ice until a truly exemplary bitch was produced that would most compliment such a prestigious sire.

Von Forell has made it their mission to prepare females within its lines that compliment the stud dogs they have in their frozen semen bank.  This forethought and planning has resulted in the bitches produced by Von Forell’s ‘F’ litter; most notable amongst these are Von Forell Ferna and Von Forell Flori.  Von Forell Flori is a truly powerful animal, and from her Von Forell Unique was produced.

Natan V Busecker Shloss semen was mated to Unique Von Forell via artificial insemination (AI) on the 1st of September 2010, and successfully whelping four healthy puppies; one female and three males (three sables and one bi – colour).  

The Males within this litter will be closely monitored and will be allocated to Von Forell’s national and international partners to further develop the global gene pool.

The female will remain with Von Forell, with the hope that she will go on to make a key genetic contribution to Von Forell’s breeding programme.
