The Chef’s Academy Sponsors 9th Annual Artspace Collectors Gala

Culinary Institution Supports Artists, Educational Programming And Community Outreach

PRLog - Nov. 5, 2010 - RALEIGH, N.C. – The Chef’s Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 108-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 30 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that it is a silver sponsor for the 9th Annual Collectors Gala to be held Saturday, Nov. 20 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event benefits Artspace exhibitions, educational programming and community outreach to children and adults in difficult circumstances. Guests will be able to purchase local and nationally recognized artwork through a live and silent auction as well as artwork displayed around the building.

Individual tickets are $125 per person and table sponsorships are available at $1,500, $2,500 and $5,000 levels. Auction pieces can be previewed online beginning Tuesday, Nov. 2 or in person beginning Friday, Nov. 5.

“We are very excited about our support for the Collectors Gala,” said Boyers. “We are honored to be able to help out for this wonderful community outreach event.”

6 p.m. – Cocktails and Hors d’Oeuvres
6 p.m. to 11 p.m. – Silent Auction
7:30 p.m. – Dinner
9 p.m. – Live Auction
10 p.m. – Desserts and Coffee
The Chef’s Academy is the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 108-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 30 degree programs in five schools of study.  More than 6,000 students altogether are enrolled at Harrison College’s 13 campuses, its online division and The Chef’s Academy.
