Zaxby’s Coming to the Shoppes at the Venue in Valley, Ala.

Oct. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- Valley, Ala – Greater Valley Group, LLC, owners of the Shoppes at the Venue announced today that Zaxby’s will be the first retail investor to build at its grocery-anchored retail and dining center on Fob James Road in Valley.

After months of analysis and negotiations, Bush & Associates Investments, Inc. finalized the deal and plan to begin construction immediately. The site management trailer will be on premises in a matter of days.

Brothers Thomas and John Bush are the owner/operators of the new Valley Zaxby’s. They also own and operate a successful Zaxby’s location in Opelika at Tiger Town.  

“Zaxby’s has three retail footprints with various capacities. We are building the largest store which will seat 90 customers at the Valley location,” said Thomas Bush, owner and operator. “We believe in the growth potential of the area, and plan an ambitious construction schedule which will allow us to open in late January, 2011,” Bush continued.

Zaxby’s will begin taking employment applications the first week of December. They will recruit, hire and begin training a management team within a few weeks.  “Ultimately, they will need about 40 permanent full-time and part-time workers to staff the store from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. seven days a week,” said Jeanne Charbonneau, public and community relations director for Greater Valley Group, LLC. “They will be open for lunch and dinner serving the full complement of signature Zaxby’s ‘zappetizers’, ‘zalads’, chicken fingers and buffalo wings in a casual dining environment” Charbonneau continued.

Zaxby’s has over 500 locations in 12 states with over 16,000 team members serving over 250,000 loyal customers every day, according to a press release available on the Zaxbys.com website. The Zaxby’s chain is just over 20 years old and began in Statesboro, GA.

With over 100,000 square feet of shops and outparcels in a growing residential market, the Shoppes at the Venue, located one mile off of Exit 77 on I-85 and just seven miles from Kia Motors Manufacuturing Georgia, is destined to become a premier shopping site in the Greater Valley Area.
