First Look: 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan

Oct. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Chrysler has just released information on the all-new 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan, and it is sure to impress you and your family. As one the vehicles receiving several upgrades this year, the Grand Caravan, sports the new Pentastar V6 engine and a revised suspension making this minivan a lot more fun to drive.

From the looks of it, the biggest change is in the styling of this minivan using top-of-the-line interior styling and materials. Better seats, new “super” center console, one-piece instrument panel with  redesigned gauges and new trim make up this interior of the Grand Caravan along with new exterior features including a new front fasica, split crosshair grille, hood, quad headlamps and LED taillamps.

According to Chrysler ‘virtually every system’ has been upgraded or tweaked. This six-speed automatic replaces all three of the previous drivetrains with 283 horsepower and 260-lb-ft of torque. Safety features have also been upgraded to make it even safer for you to tow around your most precious items, your family. Safety features include: front seat mounted side air bags, a new drive side knee blocker air bag, supplemental three-row-side-curtain air bags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring and remote keyless entry. Also, there is the Safety Sphere package available which includes ParkSense rear park assist system, a rear back-up camera, blind spot monitoring and rear cross path detection system, rain-sensitive wipers and automatic headlamps.
