Paramore Upstages Britney Spears on Fox's Glee

Oct. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Britney Spears appeared on an episode of Fox's hit show 'Glee' on the September 28th 2010 episode, but the "Hit Me Baby One More Time" pop superstar biggest hits took one under the belt when they were upstaged by a PARAMORE song, reports MTV News. Although the episode featured some of the 28 year old's biggest hits, including 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' and 'Toxic',  but it was the Paramore hit single 'The Only Exception' that closed the episode.  

The episode, which featured a cameo appearance from Spears, used many of the singer's hit songs, but Paramore's 'The Only Exception' stole Spears' thunder.

Frontwoman, Hayley Williams (who's currently on tour, purchase tickets here http://www.charged.fm/product/search/f56b47cdb47ff4095fb818f4e5409374) still can't believe Glee bosses chose to include one of her tracks. She told MTV News, "I can't even describe how I felt hearing one of our songs on a hit show like Glee. Lea Michele sang it beautifully, and I liked what she changed vocally. I felt like I was levitating off of my friend's couch trying to understand it was really happening! She also put her opinion about Glee and her song or her fans to see; she tweeted, "Seriously on cloud 9 after hearing our song on Glee. Pick up their version of 'The Only Exception' on iTunes!

Also humbled by the whole experience Spears also tweeted throughout the episode, mainly focusing on the cameo of actor JOHN STAMOS, she said, "John Stamos is still hot! He looks the same as he did on Full House".
