Chrysler To Add 900 New Jobs?

Oct. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- We, here at Barry Sanders Supercenter, couldn’t be happier with the newest Chrysler news! Chrysler announced a $1 billon dollar add to the sterling Heights Assembly Plant and the Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance plant in Dundee.

After tax credits were approved today, Chrysler plans to invest $850 million to the body shop upgrade and paint shop at the Sterling Heights facility. They have also announced the add of more than 900 workers to begin a second shift next February.

As for the Global Engine Manufacturing engine plant, Chrysler announced an additional $150 million to expand capacity for the Fiat designed four-cylinder engines.

Well you sure can tell that the auto industry is booming when automakers continue to add more jobs for us right here in the U. S. of A.
