Hyundai Announces Hyundai Genesis Gogogear Race Car

Oct. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- Another addition for the 2010 SEMA Show has been added in a souped-up Genesis Coupe. As the other Genesis Coupe is all for show, this Gogogear Hyundai has been fitted for racing.

Hyundai has teamed up with Gogogear Racing to develop a high performance racing competitor for the SEMA Show. This Genesis Coupe was created to illustrate the speed, power and tenability of the vehicle’s abilities. This race car is one-of-a-kind with racing reliability and high-end performance.

Under the hood features tuned for racing on the Gogogear Hyundai Genesis:

330 horsepower and 280 lb. ft. of torque
AEM air intake
Maganflow exhaust system
ARK Performance headers
Moroso accumulator
1.4 Gs of cornering loads
2.8 liter V6
Ground Control suspension tuning
ARK Performance shocks, springs, coil covers and QA1 bearings
StopTech brakes
Hawk racing pads
Konig lightweight wheels
BF Goodrich R1 street legal race tires
Gorilla lugs and HR spacers ensure road grip
Optima Battery
Taylor Vertex kit for weight balance

The interior will be fitted for racing with Sparco race seats and seat belts, a customized Metric Motorsports roll cage, SPA Techniques fire suppression system and a two-way radio. Other interior features include: RacePak IQ3 data logger, Linear Logic Scan Gauge II, and Dupli Color’s Daytona Yellow paint job to match the exterior.

Exterior features will include: APR rear wing, ARK Performancce body kit, Carbon fiber roof, and custom Gogogear.com graphics using Orcal products

No doubt this car is going to wow us when we go to the SEMA Show the first weekend in November. From its glossy black rims to its stunning good looks, this car sure looks like it is fitted for racing.
