Over 52,000 files correspond to the Academy Award Winning Library SoundStorm, owned by Sounddogs.com. SoundStorm recorded its sound effects library from 1984 to 2004 for about eighty feature films all across the United States, Japan, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
The library is best known for its aircraft and vehicles sounds, most notably its hotrod car collections.

Some of Hollywood’s productions using sound effects provided by Sounddogs are: “Knight and Day”, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, “3:10 to Yuma”, TV Series “Bones”, upcoming children’s film “Real Steel” and many more.
Sounddogs.com also licenses and purchases libraries from professional sound recordists around the world. It has recently purchased a library from a sound recordist from India containing many interesting and unique sound effects from the country. The library is currently under review by Sounddogs’ librarians and will soon be available for download.
