American Community Properties Trust's Environmental Initiatives Make Headway

Oct. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- American Community Properties Trust (“ACPT”) recently acquired Laserfiche Enterprise Content Management Solution from Unity Business Systems to assist them in their day to day business processes and to make enterprise information readily available.  Karen Dupree, who spearheaded the project with ACPT, believes that Laserfiche will be a tremendous asset to  the Company’s environmental initiatives. The Laserfiche ECM wil provide complete organizational assistance in scanning, managing records, providing business process solutions, web accessibility, auditing, and records management.  

Laserfiche will also help ACPT reach their retention goals and provide an authorized auditing system to meet the compliance demands of United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  In addition to providing an agile ECM solution, Unity Business Systems has scanned over 350,000 documents and will be placing those documents into their Laserfiche system.  This will allow ACPT to jumpstart their organizational requirements, and the staff will be more readily capable to provide information for residents, investors, and employees.
