Vital Network Solutions awarded Berwins Solicitors’ managed support contract

Oct. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Vital Network Solutions, the Harrogate-based specialist IT company, has been awarded the managed support contract for Berwins Solicitors.

The move will help ensure the Harrogate law firm maintains its place at the forefront of legal service provision in the area, and strengthen its business continuity planning.

Vital, which is the only locally-based Microsoft Small Business Specialist, has migrated Berwins’ IT infrastructure from a physical server to a virtual one giving a more efficient backup and maintenance process.

The contract has also seen Vital install around 40 state-of-the-art desktop computers at the law firm’s two Harrogate sites.

Since July 2007 business continuity planning has been mandatory for lawyers and solicitors in England and Wales to ensure that critical business functions are available to customers, suppliers, regulators, and other entities that must have access to those functions.
