Sept. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- Model railway collectors will be delighted to hear that Staffordshire auction house Cuttlestones has over 200 model trains & carriages in 70 lots consigned for sale during its Friday, 8th October Collectors’ Sale. The model railway trains, which are part of an 86-lot toy section, include a large number of boxed models from renowned makers including Hornby Railways, Mainline Railways, Bachmann Branch Line Model Railways, Lima and Airfix.

The majority of boxed model engines and carriages, which were sourced from a single private collector, are in excellent condition. There are also a number of lots that comprise of quantities of unboxed engines and carriages in crates.

The model railway items will be sold at Cuttlestones’ sale room in Penkridge, Staffordshire from 10am on Friday, 8th October 2010, with viewing from 10am – 7pm on Thursday, 7th October.
