Sept. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Wax Custom Communications will be developing two fully integrated hospital marketing projects. Richmond University Medical Center (RUMC)  has selected Wax Custom Communications to head their latest integrated marketing project, aimed to revamp RUMC’s image, message and direction. Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital (CCMH) has hired Wax to evaluate all their current integrated marketing programs and create a strategy moving forward.

Wax will develop multiple components for RUMC, including social media campaigns, advertising, website development, branding, newsletters and media placement billboard together with newspaper, television, web and social campaigns.
“We chose Wax Custom Communications because of their expertise with community hospitals, and their strong creative and research capabilities,” said Jennifer Sammartino, director of communications for RUMC.
Located in Staten Island, RUMC has 510 acute care beds and serves the community with high-quality inpatient and outpatient services, including a reproductive medicine center and a high-risk pregnancy center for women requiring special care. The Emergency Department is a Level I Trauma Center, led by board certified emergency department physicians. RUMC, a New York State-designated Stroke Center, has a Center for Diabetes Medicine, a Sleep Disorders Center, a Wound Care Center, a Pain Management Center, among other centers.  Recently, the hospital partnered with Mount Sinai Medical Center to bring the World Trade Center Medical Monitoring and Treatment Program Clinical Center to the Island.
Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, a general medical and surgical facility located in Parkersburg, WV, has been providing high-quality, comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for more than a century. Consumers recently rated Camden-Clark their top choice for quality health care among all hospitals in the mid-Ohio Valley. The facility manages 292 beds and is accredited by the Joint Commission.
“Our decision to go with Wax had to do with the combination of their past work with us and their high level of creativity,” said Michael King, CEO of Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.
Wax Custom Communications has a long history working with community hospitals, including the Baylor Health Care System, Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Florida and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami.
