ICT heavyweights to gather for EVUA autumn conference

Sept. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Heavyweight organisations from the world of ICT will gather in Brussels next month to discuss the technologies that are driving the industry forward, at the EVUA autumn conference.

The Connecting the Enterprise conference runs from 13 to 14 October at the Marriott Brussels and aims to set the agenda for the future of the industry.

Experts from telecoms analyst firm Ovum will join representatives from suppliers including Verizon Business, Telefonica/O2, T-Systems, Vodafone and BCS, in giving presentations on the future of some of the sector’s most exciting innovations.

The main themes will include unified communications, cloud computing, virtualisation, connecting the enterprise, expense management and managed services, with the keynote presentation coming from Peter Hall, a principal analyst at Ovum.

The conference, will also hear from end user case studies on network compression and optimisation and negotiating successful managed contracts, including some examples from the local Belgium area. The event will also focus on ways in which enterprises can reduce telecoms costs, and SpendVision and Quickcomm will talk about the latest services available to help companies achieve this.
