Vexika Art Contest to Give Struggling Creators a Boost

Sept. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- GILBERT, AZ  -  The creators of the upcoming SciFi Webseries, "Vexika" have chosen to allow all entrants to their Art Contest to credit (and therefore link) back to their respective portfolio - web comic - cartoon - profile.

Co-creator Dan Stewart says, "We can't offer money to the winners -  But we have attracted a large and growing fan base that we can get many of these talented artists in front of.  If you search through our list of fans on Facebook, you might be surprised who you find."

The contest will have not one winner, but three.  One winner will be chosen by the fans and two winners will be chosen by Dan and Miranda separately.

Miranda said, "Our tastes in art are very different.  So to avoid squabbling over who should win, we jointly decided that we will both pick a favorite."

The main focus of the art/drawing contest is to entertain the fans with awesome artwork by awesome artists.  "We hope they take advantage of it."

The contest guidelines state that artists can, "Pencil it. Ink it. Color it. Watercolor it. Paint it. Use charcoal. Crayola it. Speech bubbles. Pinup.  Panels.  Whatever – anything goes."

Fans are either getting into the SciFi aspect of the webseries or stand in amazement that a husband and wife can work so closely together without inflicting serious bodily harm on each other.  Accidently.

"We can't wait to see what people come up with."
