Aug. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Starting with the body itself Lexus decided to widen the RX, but don't get your hopes up, it still only seats five. It's now riding around on 18" alloy wheels instead of 17's, with bigger brakes and a whole new 6-speed transmission. It's got 10 air bags, keyless go, and a new way to control the navigation system-- a computer mouse right in the car! Well ok, so it's not actually a computer mouse, but it sure looks like one, and it defiantly makes the system easier to use.

Also in the list of updates the RX received comes a new double wishbone rear suspension system, which has a more compacted structure than the MacPherson Strut (still on the front), resulting in superb handling and more cargo space!  Alas, even with more cargo space all the new changes were expected to increase the weight-- and they did, by a whopping 400 pounds!
