The Columbus Black Doll & Gift Show will premier showcasing a variety of handcrafted, collectible, modern and artist sculptured dolls, as well as unique gift items, on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Aladdin Shrine Center, 3850 Stelzer Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219 from 10:00 a.m. –  5:00 p.m.

The Columbus Black Doll & Gift Show establishes a marketplace for doll crafters, doll artists and business owners.  This event provides the opportunity to display and sell dolls, doll-related merchandise and unique gift items to a target market of doll enthusiasts, avid doll collectors, first-time collectors and holiday shoppers.

“Our mission is to express cultural pride and beauty through black dolls,” says founder     Natasha Gates, who is also the owner of Natasha’s Doll Boutique. “Black doll collecting continues to grow, as mothers seek to purchase dolls for their children that promote positive self image, self esteem and cultural acceptance”, said Gates. “We strive to select the most talented and gifted doll crafters and artists, who exemplify our mission of presenting to the public the finest black dolls, representing the highest standard of workmanship, quality, originality and visual artistry.”

This is the only Black Doll Show in Ohio and is a long-awaited and sure to be welcomed event for doll lovers and holiday shoppers alike, to explore the fantastic marketplace of black dolls and unique gift items.

Ticket costs at the door is $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for children 12 and under; and children 5 and under FREE.
