Judd W. Goodall Joins McCumber Daniels to Head the Firm’s First Party Insurance Defense Group

Aug. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- McCumber, Daniels, Buntz, Hartig & Puig P.A. welcomes its newest partner, Judd W. Goodall, to the firm’s Tampa, Florida office.  Mr. Goodall focuses his practice on first party insurance defense.  

Mr. Goodall has years of experience representing Florida’s largest property insurers in first-party property disputes relating to sinkhole, windstorm, fire, mold and water losses. He has also provided coverage analysis and worked on many Extra Contractual Liability (ECL) “bad faith” related matters. In addition to representing insurance companies in first-party actions, he has defended many liability cases on behalf of property owners, construction companies and defended against various wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits.  Recently, Mr. Goodall obtained a defense verdict during jury trial as counsel on a confirmed sinkhole dispute, Alfonso Chechile v. Nationwide Insurance Company of Florida, in Pasco County, Florida.

Mr. Goodall graduated from Stetson University College of Law where he obtained a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy, and interned with the Pinellas County Attorney’s Office as well as the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office. Mr. Goodall is admitted to practice in both Florida State and Federal Court.
