3) After tabulating the nominations, the San Diego Daily Transcript identifies the top 25 nominated attorneys as semi-finalists, and then opens a peer voting process to determine the top ten ranked attorney finalists.

Ken Fitzgerald was previously named a Top Attorney in 2006, 2008, and 2009, while Jill Sullivan was a semi-finalist for the designation last year.
