Follow on Google News | Essex girls are the UK’s cheapest datesNew research of 1,655 women by the UK’s leading daily city deals website has revealed the top 10 towns and cities in the UK that are home to the ‘cheapest dates’.

According to the research, 29% of women in Liverpool think the ‘perfect’ first date would be to be ‘taken out for dinner’ while 17% admitted their ‘perfect’ first date would be a ‘rom-com movie at the cinema’. When asked the question by http://www.Groupola.com ‘do you think you are a cheap date?’ below are the top 10 towns and cities that are home to the women who admitted they are: 1. Essex – 61% 2. Liverpool – 59% 3. Newport – 57% 4. Northampton – 44% 5. Slough – 41% 6. Glasgow – 38% 7. Hull – 32% 8. Blackburn – 27% 9. Middlesbrough – 24% 10. Swansea – 19% The majority of the respondents in Essex, 56%, think that their friends are ‘cheap dates’ while less than 1 in 10 of the women who live in Swansea , 8% believe their friends would be ‘cheap dates’. Of those polled in Essex, 27% would be happy if they were ‘taken for a burger’ on their first date, however 21% would prefer to be ‘taken out for a curry’. The study by http://www.Groupola.com found that almost a third, 31%, of the women polled in Liverpool would ‘go on a second date’ with a man who took them out for dink in the ‘local pub’ whilst 49% said they would split the bill. More than a fifth, 21%, of Essex girls admitted that they had slept with somebody following the first date. With all women included in this statistic though, just 8% said they’d spent the night with their date after the first date. 16% of the women asked in Newport would find it acceptable if their date took them to their location on a bus and 41% wouldn’t mind if their date used a ‘money off coupon’ in the restaurant on their first date.
