Bytes Software Services (UK), a specialist in software licensing and software asset management, grew its business by 30% over the past three years following the strategic decision to continue to focus its operation on Microsoft technologies. The success of this strategy has resulted in Bytes being awarded Microsoft’s Licensing Solutions, License Delivery Partner of the Year 2010. This is the third time in the last four years that the company has been commended in this way by Microsoft.
Bytes Software Services generated £130m annual turnover this year, up from £118m in 2009 and £111m in 2008.
Neil Murphy, Managing Director of Bytes Software Services says, “We bet our business on Microsoft, so too have our customers. And it’s a business decision that is paying dividends. This year has been very healthy due to a strong take up on Windows 7 and Office 2010 with ‘Exchange at the Core’ being our pillar from a sales perspective.
“The Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA), in particular, offers the unique ability to generate profit for us and our partners whilst delivering a high value, cost-saving vehicle for our customers,” adds Neil. “Our highly sophisticated EA @ The Core strategy places the Microsoft platform at the heart of every sale we make and it has proved highly effective in engaging and serving our customers.”
Bytes was recognised by Microsoft for its superior technology and innovation in Licensing Solutions, License Delivery Partner of the Year. The award honours partners who consistently seek to innovate with their Volume Licensing solutions and services, and provide ongoing attention to customer-service excellence. Award winners were chosen from a pool of almost 3,000 entrants worldwide.
