June 28, 2010 - PRLog -- The American Cancer Society (ACS) recently received a $4500 donation check from Allstate Insurance Company for their Camp Adventure program.

Nine local Allstate agents – Pierre Aykaz of Lynbrook,  Leonard Corazza of Islip Terrace, Lester Davis of West Hempstead, Anthony and John D’Elia of Freeport, Steven Levy of Carle Place, Chris Reimels of Kings Park, Frank Scordo of Bayside and Ray Stroveglia of Massapequa – were recently named Agent Heroes by Allstate’s New York Region, and awarded $500 grants apiece for a local youth program, which they jointly donated to the ACS for Camp Adventure. The week-long sleepaway camp for children with cancer and their siblings is on Shelter Island, and will be held this year from August 14 to 20.

“As Allstate agents, we believe it is our responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Long Island community every single day,” said the agents. “It is an honor to be able to donate these grants to the American Cancer Society and hopefully touch the lives of the campers.”
